OARS, the Olympia Amateur Radio Society, is an ARRL special services club dedicated to promoting and supporting Amateur Radio in the Olympia Washington area as well as all of Thurston County.

The Great Washington ShakeOut is scheduled for 10:19am this coming Thursday October 19. (10:19 on 10/19, in case you didn't catch that.)
This is part of the Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drills. You can find information about events in your area/region at that site.

ARRL sending out a survey to members and non-members

ARRL will be sending out a survey over the next several days.

From ARRL: "The survey will attempt to address the ways in which amateurs obtain their information, how local clubs serve their needs, and how ARRL might do a better job of providing helpful resources."
